Silicone wetting agent for cured silicone
PROMISET silicone wetting agent is a harmless and non-reactive product based on surfactants. It dissolves very well in water. It is harmless to health. It does not damage the surface of silicone or water- or solvent-borne varnishes used for painting windows and doors. Used in the recommended amounts, it does not extend the time of silicone cross-linking. The product is recommended by LAKMA exclusively for wetting silicones. The LAKMA company does not recommend the use of glass or dishwashing liquids available on the market for this purpose due to the possibility of their negative impact on silicone.
Application
The preparation is used by professional users of silicones as a concentrated agent for wetting the silicone surface after application in order to smooth it and scrape off excess silicone with a spatula or other tool. It is recommended for manufacturers of wooden windows and doors, aquariums and other products with visible silicone joints as well as service and construction companies dealing with facade sealing.
