What is formaldehyde?

Formaldehyde is a volatile organic compound (VOC) used in the production of many colorants, synthetic resins, furniture and preservatives in the cosmetic industry. Unfortunately, it can be found in every home, as the sources of its presence in the air are e.g. paints for furniture, walls, floors, plywood, wooden slabs, fabrics, furniture and lots of others. This compound is highly toxic in high concentrations and is easily absorbed throughout the respiratory system. It is merely tolerated by the human body in low concentrations, and the multitude of its sources in our daily life can result in a number of burdensome and dangerous diseases, such as weakening of the body, frequent infections, runny nose, burning of the eyes, cough, asthma, rhinitis, annoyance, allergies up to the increased cancer risk.

Application

ACTIVE CARE is designed for painting walls, ceilings and other interior building surfaces with cement plaster, cement-lime plaster, gypsum plaster, gypsum boards, polymer finish coats and glass textile wall covering.
